disadvantage主要的意思是指不利的情況和不利的條件, 而shortcoming一般是指缺點，不一定都要指人，在運用的時候shortcoming往往用復數shortcomings. 如：The other candidate's main disadvantage is her age.另一候選人的主要不利條件是她的年齡問題.再如：He sharply pointed out the shortcomings in the work.他一針見血地指出這項工作的缺點。
