consist of與be composed of的區(qū)別

consist是不及物動(dòng)詞，得加介詞用consistof，例如theunitedkingdomconsistsofgreatbritainandnorthernireland.

compose既是及物動(dòng)詞也是不及物動(dòng)詞，作為構(gòu)成的意思的時(shí)候是及物動(dòng)詞，而且要用被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)becomposedof,例如wateriscomposedofhydrogenandoxygen.另外compose還有創(chuàng)作的意思，是作為不及物動(dòng)詞使用的，例如hewascomposingatthepianoattheageofseven.

constitute是及物動(dòng)詞，不需要加介詞of，例如twelvemonthsconstituteoneyear.而且constitute一般多用于機(jī)構(gòu)，組織的構(gòu)成
