advise的用法

advise 勸告,忠告;當(dāng)...的顧問(wèn);通知,告知;建議采取等意思，關(guān)于advise的用法也是各種各樣：

1. advise sth / ***

Early booking is advised. 建議及早訂票。

The doctor advised a complete rest. 醫(yī)生讓完全休息。

Experts were brought in to advise the Government. 請(qǐng)來(lái)了專家擔(dān)當(dāng)***顧問(wèn)。

I've tried to advise her but she won't listen. 我設(shè)法給她出主意，但是她不肯聽(tīng)。

2. advise *** to do

They advised him to wait. 他們勸他等待。

Shakespeare advises us not to borrow or lend. 莎士比亞勸我們既不要向人借錢也不要借錢給人。

Would you advise me to phone, or shall I wait a bit longer? 你看我打電話好，還是我再等一會(huì)兒好?

3. advise doing

I'd advise taking a different approach. 我建議換個(gè)方式。

I wouldn't advise taking the car—there's nowhere to park. 我看不要開(kāi)車去——沒(méi)有停車的地方。

She advised keeping the gate locked / advised us to keep it locked. 她忠告我們應(yīng)當(dāng)鎖好門。

Would you advise phoning, or shall I wait a bit longer? 你看我打電話好，還是我再等一會(huì)兒好?

4. be advised to

You would be well advised to stay indoors. 你最好待在屋里。

Obese patients are advised to change their diet. 建議肥胖病人改變飲食。

You would be well advised to reconsider your decision. 你應(yīng)該把你的決定再重新考慮一下才好。

5. advise ***'s doing

I advised his starting at once. 我勸他馬上動(dòng)身。

He advised her applying at once. 他勸告她立即提出申請(qǐng)。

I advise his waiting a few more days. 我建議他再等幾天。

6. advise + wh- + to do

I advised her where to stay. 我?guī)退鲋饕庠谀睦镒　?/p>

He advised her where to stay. 他建議她在哪里住。

They will advise you what to do. 他們將給你出主意怎么辦。

Can you advise me whether to register this letter? 你看，這封信需要掛號(hào)不?

7. advise whether…(陳述語(yǔ)氣)
