創(chuàng)作背景
1964年，PaulSimon移居歐洲后，開始在巴黎和英國(guó)倫敦各種民間俱爾部中演出。返回紐約后他與CBS的唱片公司簽約，制作人為TomWilson，并且重新與他的老搭檔Garfunkel合作。
他們?cè)?964年錄制的專輯《WednesdayMorning》，其中包括歌曲《TheSoundOfSilence》的銷量不是很好，使得Simon返回倫敦。
1967年，PaulSimon和Garfunkel有一個(gè)重要的計(jì)劃是為電影《畢業(yè)生》擔(dān)任音樂制作，在1968年哥倫比亞唱片公司發(fā)行的電影原聲唱片中，人們聽到了《寂靜之聲》。
