concerned，concerning這兩個(gè)詞的詞義并不相同，用法亦有異。 Concerned是分詞形容詞，其意為“有關(guān)的”（involved）； concerning是由分詞轉(zhuǎn)換而成的介詞，其意為“關(guān)于”（relating to）。請(qǐng)看下面的例句： This agreement will be signed by the parties concerned．此協(xié)議將由各有關(guān)方面簽署。 They called on all departments concerned to take prompt steps to promote the development of light industry．他們要求各有關(guān)部門迅速采取措施，促進(jìn)輕工業(yè)發(fā)展。 由例句可見(jiàn)，concerned用作形容詞解作“有關(guān)的”時(shí)，是后置定語(yǔ)，大都放在它所修飾的名詞之后。但在動(dòng)詞“to be”之后而同樣解作“關(guān)于”時(shí)，則要用be concerned with的形式，如： This book is concerned with English usage．此書是與英語(yǔ)慣用法有關(guān)。 值得注意的是，concerned（亦可表示動(dòng)詞之意）也可解作“關(guān)心”、“擔(dān)心”、“掛…念的，擔(dān)…心”的解，與之搭配的介詞為at、about或，用作此意時(shí)，concerned也是形容詞。例： He was deeply concerned at the news．聽(tīng)到這個(gè)消息時(shí)，他深為擔(dān)憂。 We are all concerned about the pollution of the environment here．對(duì)這里的環(huán)境愛(ài)到污染，我們都感到不安。 Parents are naturally concerned for their children's safety．父母自然關(guān)心他們兒女的安全。 I am very concerned about her.我非常掛念她。 to concern oneself with public work關(guān)心公眾事務(wù) We're rather concerned about father's health.我們相當(dāng)擔(dān)心父親的健康。 We are all concerned for [about] her safety.我們大家都擔(dān)心著她的安全。 下面是concerning的例句： This is a proposal concerning the construction of the new airport．這是關(guān)于興建新機(jī)場(chǎng)的一項(xiàng)建議。 Yesterday we wrote him a letter concerning the business arrangement．昨天我們就業(yè)務(wù)安排問(wèn)題寫了一封信給他。 在個(gè)別場(chǎng)合下，concerned with可以和concerning互換使用，原因是從句which are concerned with中的which are 省略了。例如： We had several disputes concerning/（which are）concerned with this matter．關(guān)于此事，我們?cè)鵂?zhēng)論過(guò)數(shù)次。 需要注意的是下列語(yǔ)句的區(qū)別： They were concerned（worried）about the matter．他們?yōu)榇耸露鴵?dān)憂。 They were concerned（implicated）in the matter．他們參與此事。 They were concerned （connected）with the matter．他們與此事有關(guān)。 另外作為特定詞組，as far as I am concerned解作in my opinion； as far as sth is concerned解作concerning sth/ talking about sth.例： As far as I'm concerned，this plan is impractical．依我來(lái)看，這個(gè)計(jì)劃不切實(shí)際。 As far as funding is concerned，some banks have agreed to provide loans．關(guān)于資金方面，一些銀行同意提供貸款。 詞形詞義拓展： unconcerned adj.漠然的， 漠不關(guān)心的;無(wú)關(guān)的，不相干的 = indifferent It is quite indifferent to me whether you go or stay.對(duì)你的去留我毫不關(guān)心。 I am indifferent to their arguments.我對(duì)他們的爭(zhēng)論毫不關(guān)心。
